The Family Centered Services Department at Mills County Public Health offers REMEDIAL SERVICES to children, adolescents, and adults with mental health needs, who have Iowa Medicaid Insurance.

Services for Adults – Services assist adults with developing improved communication skills, conflict resolution skills, problem solving skills, social skills, interpersonal relationship skills, or employment-related skills - after their specific needs have been assessed by a licensed practitioner.

Services for Children and Adolescents – Remedial Services assist youth in learning age appropriate ways to manage their behavior or regain self control. Services are designed to meet the multiple and changing needs of youth with mental health needs such as ADHD, Adjustment Disorder, Disruptive Disorder, Depression, or other diagnoses.
